"Reusing Churches. New Perspectives in a European Comparison" was the title of an international conference that took place as a digital event from 15-17 February 2021. 700 people from 24 countries took part. The conference participants used the digital opportunities to engage in intensive dialogue with each other. The wish was expressed to continue this dialogue. The website fulfils this wish.

In the "Symposium 2021" section, you will find the complete documentation of the 2021 conference. All presentations and discussions are documented in a German and English versions. In addition, further material provided by the speakers can be found here.

The other sections contain material compiled for the conference and supplemented by participants at the conference. Further material has been added since then. In the "Publications" section you will find publications on the subject of church reuse sorted by country and chronologically. Publications available on the Internet are linked. Under "Research" you will find extensive additional material, organised by "Conferences", "Databases", "Exhibitions", "Films", "Institutions" and "Research projects", . These sections are updated at regular intervals. News is announced in the "News" section.

The website is subtitled "International Forum". It is intended as a platform for dialogue. Take advantage of the offer and share your information and knowledge with the international community of those involved in the topic of "reusing churches". The website will be maintained and the messages and materials you send us will be uploaded on an ongoing basis.
