Originally planned as a face-to-face event at Herrenhausen Palace in Hannover, the symposium "Reusing churches" finally took place as a digital event due to Covid. Georg Schütte as Secretary General, Volkswagen Foundation, and Kerstin Gothe on behalf of the three organisers opened the conference.
